STARC would like to thank all of the AROs and their families that showed up yesterday for our annual hamfest. The weather was near perfect and the new location provided for a most enjoyable time.
There were many door prizes given with most every one present getting at least one. Thank you to HRO, DX Engineering, ARRL, Shaggy's Pizza, MFJ, and others for the door prizes. A big thank you to Steven KC1USA for picking all of the door prize tickets for us. Thank you to all of the vendors that had items for sale/to buy in the fleamarket area.
Nick KB1RWB was the first ARO to find our hidden fox transmitter. Good job RWB!
If you were not able to attend, you missed a good time. We hope to see you next year.
